📋 How to Play
🔋 Welcome to the Battery Status Checker! Your mission is to determine which of the 8 batteries listed below are good (On) and which are bad (Off).
You have these batteries: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
🧪 Testing Batteries
Step 1: Enter the numbers of two batteries you want to test into the input fields provided.
Step 2: Click the 🔍 Check Status button to see the combined status of the two batteries.
The combined status will be:
- "On": Only if both batteries are good (On). For this status, you will see a "Light on" icon.
- "Off": If at least one battery is bad (Off). For this status, you will see a "Dead battery" icon.
Example:
You ran these tests:
- Testing batteries 3 and 7: Result is "Off" (meaning at least one of these batteries is bad).
- Testing batteries 7 and 5: Result is "Off" (meaning at least one of these batteries is bad).
- Testing batteries 3 and 5: Result is "On" (meaning both of these batteries are good).
Status Definitions:
- On: Both batteries in the tested pair are good.
- Off: At least one battery in the tested pair is bad.
📝 Record Your Findings
Each combination you test will be logged in the history. You can view this log to keep track of your tests. Combinations that result in "On" will be highlighted in yellow in the history log.
🚀 Submit Your Results
Once you think you’ve identified all the good batteries, enter their numbers separated by commas into the submission field and click 🚀 Submit.
🎉 Winning the Game
If all 4 batteries you submit are indeed good, you win the game and your results will be added to the leaderboard. If any of the batteries are bad, you’ll have to try again. Keep an eye on your attempts; too many wrong submissions and it’s game over!
⭐ Additional Features
Check the 🏅 Leaderboard to see the scores, attempts, and elapsed times of top players. Review all your tested combinations and results in the 📝 History Log. Use the 🧹 Clear button to reset your current input. When you want to start a fresh game, click the 🎮 Start New Game button.
